Japanese Onsen by Monster Taxi – the brainchild of Miami composer, producer, and musician Jason Klein, immerses listeners in a sonic journey shaped by a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Japan with his son. From the serene rhythm of Kinosaki’s hot spring villages to the timeless grace of Kyoto’s shrines and temples, the piece reflects the harmony of Japan’s landscapes where tradition and tranquility meet. A soundtrack echoing steaming onsens, hillside vistas, and the artistry of Kaiseki meals, the song captures the essence of discovery beyond Tokyo and Osaka’s vibrant bustle. This evocative composition pays homage to a father and son’s shared adventure, a memory etched into melody, forever calling them back to Japan’s spirit of renewal.

Miami-based music producer and keyboard player Jason Klein, aka Monster Taxi, has licensed and created music on several major and indie labels, including Ministry of Sound, Universal, Sony, and Fania, to name a few. His originals and remixes have been played on the radio and have been charted on Billboard, DJ Times, and others. Through BMG Records, he recreated pop and dance versions of disco band Foxy’s Get Off and took masters of Cuban classic artist Beny More, turning his music into current pop and dance. In addition to electronic dance music, Jason (Monster Taxi) is heavily inspired by artists such as Vangelis, Air, Massive Attack, Khruangbin, Radiohead, and Lana Del Rey. He is currently composing several Trip Hop, New Age, Downtempo, and Cinematic songs, of which two, Reflect and Field of Dreams, are in heavy rotation on Sirius XM’s SPA Channel and other radio and streaming programming. He has more than 1.8 million streams on Spotify and over 115 playlists in the chill, new age, trip hop, and deep house genres.

The Insufferable Paul Scott is a Sydney-based singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist known for his sharp wit, eclectic sound, and prolific output. Emerging from Australia’s indie scene, Scott has played bass and guitar for numerous acts, including The Likes of You, Montana, The Kingdom of Jones and Bad Machines, performing everywhere from community halls to the Sydney Opera House, from Australia and New Zealand to Europe and the USA.

In 2019, he launched his solo career with the debut album Surrender to Robots, a lo-fi, genre-blending collection that drew favourable comparisons to art rock acts such as Of Montreal and The Notwist. This was followed by a string of EPs and albums that showcased his evolving sound and lyrical prowess. Notable releases include Radio Station (2020), Tea and Medals (2021), and Dopamine Mining (2024).

Tea and Medals, recorded during the COVID-19 lockdowns, stands out as a 12-track album featuring collaborations with producers like Steve Melville (The Tea Party, Regurgitator) and Tim Powles (The Church). Gabó’s music is overall instrumental and Electronic, but with an eclectic blend of influences from other genres such as Alternative, New Age, Reggae, Rock, Classical, Jazz, Singer/Songwriter, and ethnic music. Originally from South America, after completing his formal studies in Electronic production from Berklee College in Boston, he lived many years in France, where he grasped some of Europe’s vintage film and Electronic scene through further music studies and collaborations.

Although not a frequent performer, Gabó has had the opportunity to play at interesting venues such as the legendary House of Blues (Los Angeles), the scenic Pismo Beach State park in central California, and the New World Symphony (Miami Beach). As much of his music is instrumental and cinematic, accompanying visuals play a very important role. He has performed with or for visual media at the Paris III city hall (France), O Cinema (Miami Beach), and the Soundscape Park (Miami Beach), among others. Gabó has been a five-time recipient of the ASCAP Plus Awards thanks to his performances at alternative spaces.

In addition to creating music, Gabó’s studies in music therapy have infused the way he composes and performs – especially his slow works – with a healing awareness. This is especially the case on his 2019 Ambient album “A Desert Night of Tranquility,” and it has a central place on current live-streamings.

Currently, although most of his productions remain instrumental, collaborations with vocalists are more frequent. He works between New York City, Los Angeles, and Miami.

In ‘Song for Philip Glass’ Gareth recorded a series of repeated sequences to emulate the Glass style, gradually adding layers of classical guitar, acoustic guitar & bass. Each of the sequences is preserved throughout the track & the layering of new motifs, or ‘riffs’, generates the evolution of the track. ‘Song for Philip Glass’ seeks to evoke the spirit of the composer’s work, while integrating pop, folk & ambient music styles.

Gareth Koch is an ARIA Award winning multi-instrumentalist, recording artist, guitar soloist, composer & songwriter. He has recorded a sizeable repertory across multiple genres spanning works for classical guitar, flamenco, original compositions, arrangements, medieval projects, rock & songwriting. He has appeared at major festivals within Australia, Europe, Asia and North America.

All India Radio have created shimmering aural edifices that cross genres across 30+ releases since the late 1990s. Spinning on a Cosmic Dime continues the same exhilarating musical stylings that Jeff and Phil first exhibited on their earlier and highly-successful duo albums  — Frio Suite (2009), WaterSky (2012),  Cappadocia (2019) and Ravenna (2021).  Both musicians have lengthy and illustrious careers as solo recording artists, as well as making albums with a variety of others.

Jeff Johnson’s early work was vocal progressive-rock, but his sound evolved to focus more on jazz, new age, contemporary instrumental, contemplative-spiritual and Celtic styles. He has collaborated over the years with Wendy Goodwin, Janet Marie Chvatal, David Friesen, Dave Hagelganz, Mark Schulman, Derri Daugherty, Sandy Simpson, the Coram Deo Ensemble, John Fitzpatrick, Jozef Luptak, Dallas McKennon and poets, Malcolm Guite and Scott Cairns.

Phil Keaggy, one of the world’s most acclaimed and admired guitarists, first started playing when he was ten-years-old.  He took to the national stage with his touring rock band Glass Harp that recorded seven studio albums (some as reunion projects several decades later) and a Live At Carnegie Hall disc in 1971. For three years in a row, Keaggy was voted one of the top fingerstyle guitarists in the world by Guitar Player magazine readers. Some of his collaborations have been recordings with Randy Stonehill, Mike Pachelli, Wes King, Scott Dente, Kyle Jones, Jack Giering, John Sferra, Shannon Hayden, Tony Gerber, Tony Levin and Jerry Morotta.

These are the fields of life that feed not only the body, but the mind and soul as well; these are the fields that feed us all.

From the very first notes, “Field of Dreams” by Monster Taxi – the brainchild of Miami composer, producer, and musician, Jason Klein – elicits exactly this primal, deep-seated emotion that lives within the heart of humanity. This mesmerizing piece pays homage to Klein’s travels with his daughter to this special part of America and the memories they created exploring their own field of dreams. These are memories that will last a lifetime and stay in their hearts everytime this song and video play.

Monster Taxi is the alter-ego of Miami music producer and keyboardist Jason Klein. Klein has worked on recordings for several major and indie artists including Mariah Carey, Ricky Martin, and Earth Wind & Fire.

In 2003, Klein produced the BMG US Latin/RCA Victor album, Beny Moré – The King of Son. The single, “Bonito y Sabrosa”, was a Latin radio and video hit, charting #1 on several stations. It made the Billboard chart on May 17, 2003 on the Tropical/Salsa airplay at #39, Klein’s first Billboard chart position.

He formed Monster Taxi and Toy Robot Records to license his own tracks to major labels. The Monster Taxi tunes, “Boogie Makes a Splash” and “Cosmic Love Juice”, were featured on a dance compilation for Ministry of Sound. He worked with Billboard charting dance singers such as Pepper Mashay (Cosmic Love Juice), Rachel Panay (Repeat Performance and Get Off), Jennifer Carbonell (Memory Wack), and Ray Guell (Love is the Answer).

Recent dance mixes from Monster Taxi include Miami Spice, Cluck Old Hen, Do the Hora, Motivate, Tank and the jazz song, Ocean Drive. In 2013, Klein remixed Universal Music Canada artists, Bet.e and Stef. He continues to remix songs including releases by Eddie Amador & Ultra Nate and Jenevieve X.

He currently re-masters compilations for Sony Music and Fania Records, along with doing a voice-over production for the Simpsons cartoon on Fox.

‘Fade’ is a musical odyssey blending all the elements of David Wright’s thematic music styles, drifting between waves of gentle ambience and the dynamism of pulsating sequences. Gentle passages caress the listener, then strong rhythmic passages tease with an evolving combination of ideas peppered by a gorgeous array of synths, gentle pads and effects.

But more than anything, ‘Fade’ is an album of emotional reflection channeling David’s many influences in remembrance of friends lost.

Bio

2024 finds David Wright celebrating 35 years since his first music release, and he is now considered a veteran of the ambient/electronic music scene. His large body of work is varied, embracing Electronic, New Age, Ambient and Space Music, often with subtle ethnic influences. 

During a musical journey that began in the late 1980’s, David’s uniquely emotive and multi-layered sound and style has been compared to Kitaro, Klaus Schulze, Mike Oldfield and Vangelis. He has established himself as a respected musician, live performer, producer and promotor of electronic music events. 

David Wright is co-founder of the Tangerine Dream influenced ‘Callisto’ and the avant-garde electronic rock band ‘Code Indigo’. He has recorded music as the new age project ‘Trinity’ as well as with Ian Boddy, Klaus Hoffmann-Hoock and Robert Fox amongst others. 

He also founded the AD Music label in 1989 and continues to push new music from unknown artists though his label. His solo music has been synced for TV use, while other projects include involvement in the production of albums in many different genres, including folk, opera, rap and rock.
