Natasha Duarté has just turned 18 but already she is becoming a major sensation on the Australian music scene. Her school tour and other promotions through 2012 including playing Music Matters in Singapore have built her Facebook following from just 1600 to around 50,000 fans. Her new video has had over 70,000 views in this first week alone. ‘(Just Stop) Telling Me Not To’ is the perfect ‘Defiantly Teen’ pop anthem telling the story of teens vs. parents and the age old story of parents telling off their kids for the very things they had done when they were young.

Dawn: a beguiling entity formed around the creative collaborations of Australian/Canadian songstress Kimberley Dawn Lysons and artists including Jeff Martin, frontman of Canadian band The Tea Party. On her debut album, ‘The Spinning Jenny’, Dawn combines her delicate vocals with Martin’s dark, brooding inflections to create a sound that can best be described as vintage rock with world music undertones. Inoke ‘Knox’ Kalounisiga is a Fijian-Rotuman singer/songwriter. Idolized in his homeland as the Fijian Jack Johnson, Knox is notorious for his guitar playing skills, amazing raw vocals & live performances. With his roots in laid-back contemporary reggae, Knox has evolved his sound into a soulful blues with a twist of folk and serves up his debut single ‘Candy’. With the release his new single Knox will tour a string of shows along the East Coast of Australia in March and April 2013 with his three piece band featuring Cale Storer on Drums and Tim Shakespear on Bass.

Melbourne singer/songwriter Diana May Clark is an accomplished bossa nova interpreter producing original pop laced with world music harmonies, Brazilian grooves, George Harrison inspired psychedelia all mixed up with a little bit of pop/rock swagger.  This psychedelic pop act features an all star lineup of Australian music identities including Greg Arnold (Things of Stone and Wood) on keys, legendary jazzer Doug de Vries on electric guitar and Diana Clark on rock chick duty.  ‘Sunny Daze’ has been shortlisted in the indie rock/pop category of the 2012 ASA Songwriting Awards.  The band will be touring Oz in early 2013.

Jade Diary is a Perth-based singer-songwriter of atmospheric indie pop. 07 Greta Gertler. Honey Beat

The Universal Thump is a Brooklyn-based band and production team led by Greta Gertler (piano, voice) and Adam Gold (drums, voice and more). Later this year the band will be releasing its first orchestral pop album, ‘The Universal Thump’. The inspiration for this record (and later its unifying tale) was a whale-watching expedition that took the co-producers to Maritime Canada in mid 2008. Gertler and Gold have found a connection with the sounds, songs, and survival patterns of ‘The Whale’. The band will be touring Australia early in the New Year.

The man behind JackSun, Paul Raymond Jackson was born in Western Australia and began his music career in Perth. He became well established in the WA music scene as a member of ‘Creatures of Habit’ and ‘Jaluka,’ gigging and touring for over a decade. In 2004 Paul moved to Ireland and began writing and performing as a solo artist. Over the next several years he developed his unique sound, layering smooth finger-style guitar playing with dream like arrangements and soothing vocals. Paul currently lives in New Zealand recording and performing. JackSun’s debut album will be released later this year.

Halfway Homebuoy is a Sydney based rock/ indie/ folk band who formed in the Swiss Alps. In 2010 Halfway Homebuoy entered Britain’s largest band completion ‘Live and unsigned’ where they would reach the last 100 of a 10,000 strong competition. Encouraged by this and progress they made in the 10 months leading towards this, the band decided to concentrate on music which forced them to relocate to a city.
