Nathaniel Willemse is unquestionably one of Australia’s most soulful singers. Having already notched up a number of hit singles, the singer/songwriter has established a fan base and earned comparisons to some of the greatest soul singers of our generation. Now with the release of his long-awaited debut album YOURS, and accompanying beautiful new single ‘Always Be Yours’, Nathaniel is reinforcing his talent and ability, whilst delivering a fresh take on a timeless sound.

“People sometimes refer to me as an old-soul, especially when they hear me sing, so we wanted to make sure we kept that soulfulness, but twist it together with a modern-day sound,” he says, describing the music on his new album. “The majority of songs on the album like ‘Live Louder’, ‘Flava’, ‘Animals’ and ‘Addicted’ all have that throwback soulfulness to them, but it’s been given an update for a fresher sound.”

Nathaniel is already a familiar name on the ARIA charts, with a series successful single releases (two of which have been awarded Double Platinum accreditation), and he’s hoping that the support from his fans continues with the release of his latest material.
