Blessed with a voice of stripped back, stop-you-in-your-tracks beauty, Rhodes releases his eagerly anticipated debut album ‘Wishes’ This September on Rhodes Music / Ministry of Sound/Sony Music.
Having honed the songwriting talent that has been clear for all to hear on his captivating early EP’s, ‘Wishes’ confirms the arrival of a major talent who has already been compared to artists as diverse as Jeff Buckley and Adele. The album is written entirely by Rhodes and produced by Rhodes and his long-term collaborator James Kenosha (Dry The River, Pulled Apart By Horses), with additional production by Drake producer Nineteen85.
Rhodes has travelled a long way in a short time building on what has been a phenomenal beginning to a career that promises longevity. He’s supported Ben Howard, London Grammar, George Ezra and Sam Smith while selling out his own shows including his biggest show to date at London’s Village Underground in March.

Melbourne-based 5-piece The Paper Kites return with their sophomore album, twelvefour
Written entirely between midnight and four in the morning, twelvefour is a concept record that explores the theory that an artist’s creative peak lays within these hours.
In a pursuit to accomplish a bigger and bolder sound, the group travelled to Seattle to record with Grammy-nominated producer Phil Ek (Father John Misty, Manchester Orchestra, Fleet Foxes, The Shins).
twelvefour is lush and intimate: think drum machines, dirtier guitars mixed with soulful, smooth synth moments. Plentiful late night vibes.

‘Home’ by Suze DeMarchi features duets with Jimmy Barnes, Russell Morris, Diesel, Tex Perkins and Dallas Frasca.
Marking exactly fifteen years since the enigmatic singer’s first solo album, the new studio offering is a collection of familiar songs about home, originally recorded by a diverse set of artists including The Clash, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Sheryl Crow, Adele, Ryan Adams and more.
These are the songs that have been close to Suze’s heart on her journey around the world and back home to Australia.
“Home was always on my mind. I’ve always been drawn to stories about home, and love many songs about home that resonate with me now as much as they did during the years I was away. To celebrate my journey I’ve recorded an album of these songs, with some friends, and with those I admire.”
A slight departure from her rock roots with the Baby Animals, and with the unlikely and ultimately perfect pairing of Shane Nicholson on production, ‘Home’ is delivered with the same passion that has earned Suze DeMarchi her iconic status in the Australian music history books.
“Home is where my roots lie, where my folks are, where my history remains, where the air is sweet, where my friends reside and where I kiss the ground when I step off that plane.”

Classic songs. Huge supports. Sold-out headline shows. International gigs. Raves from radio programmers, journalists and bloggers… Australian duo HOLY HOLY have experienced much even before launching an album. But now their debut, When The Storms Would Come, is finally here – and it’s vaster, and wilder, than anything they’ve aired to date.

In the current musical landscape, there are no longer barriers. You don’t have to be from New York or LA to be a rap artist. Poetry and pop music can go hand-in-hand, and an MC doesn’t need to shy away from wearing his heart on his sleeve. This makes it the perfect time to introduce Nick de la Hoyde.
Nick de la Hoyde is a 21-year-old singer/songwriter/rapper from Sydney, Australia.
In pursuit of a professional football career, Nick moved to Barcelona, Spain at the age of 15 and lived there for 4 years. It was during this time that Nick started to explore hip-hop music as a way of expressing his frustrations with the ups and downs of following his dreams. What started out as an outlet, soon became a burning passion. Nick wrote lyrics and melodies to his favorite instrumentals as well as original songs, in collaboration with Sydney based composer, musician and producer (and brother) Joseph de la Hoyde (de la Aurora & Monks of Mellonwah).
Melding the sounds and vibes of hip-hop, pop, soul, R&B, and spoken word, Nick de la Hoyde developed a style that defies genres. With introspective lyrics that read like personal journal entries, his songs express the angst and triumphs that come with youth, dreams, and determination.
That message certainly made an impact. By performing his songs online and through his self-made videos, Nick began to make a name for himself, building a strong and loyal fanbase that continues to grow. This growth has been seen across all of Nick’s social media sites, and in particular on Instagram where he has amassed a large following in just five 5 months.
Nick’s work recently caught the attention of Chicago based Hip-Hop producer Lemoyne ‘LA’ Alexander (R.Kelly, Aaliyah) who invited Nick to the USA to collaborate. The result, Nick’s debut single “The Longest Way,” realeased in October, entered the US top 100 chart strongly in 2015.
The voice of 2015 – Nick de la Hoyde is the artist to watch!

Leon Bridges-Coming Home
The album pre-order announcement and the release of the “Better Man” video comes on the heels of what can only be described as a pivotal month for Bridges. After making his successful festival debut at SXSW, he was awarded the prestigious 2015 Grulke Prize for Developing US Act. Immediately following that announcement, Bridges premiered his track “River” in the new Beats commercial, which aired in the US, on ESPN surrounding the NFL Draft.
Leon then made his red carpet debut at the vaunted 2015 Costume Institute Benefit at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Leon attended the exclusive gala as a guest of Vogue Magazine, with the New York Times noting that Bridges was “…looking sharp as we expected”.
Bridges, a trained choreographer and dancer, is celebrated for his strong live presence. Fans have shown up in droves for his headline concerts; his New York City show at Mercury Lounge sold out in exactly one minute, followed by another sold-out show at Troubadour in Los Angeles. Leon will return to New York City for a Bowery Ballroom show on June 23rd, which sold out in six minutes flat.
