On its new release,“Way Back Home,” the Backtrack Blues Band has delivered an exciting harp and guitar-infused album that really hits the mark! The solid grooves, stellar guitar, electrifying harmonica, and vocals make this album one of the best blues releases of 2016. Reminiscent of the sounds of Paul Butterfield and the early Fabulous Thunderbirds, the songs on this record are true electric blues with lots of soul and energy. The band has won three consecutive Tampa Bay Music Awards for “Best Blues Band” and has performed at festivals and concerts around the world with blues music legends like Stevie Ray Vaughan, B.B.King, Buddy Guy, Robert Cray, Gregg Allman, John Lee Hooker, Johnny Winter, and others. “Way Back Home” marks the band’s fifth album, and the critics have proclaimed it the band’s best work!

Sax drenched melodies, infectious grooves and emotive songwriting is the heart of Joel Sena’s soul music. After studying at the Australian Institute of Music, Joel became one of Sydney’s most in-demand saxophonist. He’s played as a sideman for various Sydney artists, but with influences such as Kendrick Lamar, Haitus Kiayote, and Miles Davis, Joel is ready to bring forth his own productions into the spotlight. His debut self-titled EP is be released 11 November 2016 but the first single, “Be With You,” will be available 7 October 2016. Also featured on the album will be the sultry vocals of up and coming artist Phoebe Papatheodorou.

Slow Club’s Charles Watson and Rebecca Taylor now release their fourth studio album “One Day All Of This Won’t Matter Anymore,” With help from producer Matthew E. White, the master of Southern-gothic folk, and his in-house band at Richmond’s Spacebomb Studios, they’ve created the consistency and tone the album required. Almost every track was played live in the studio, allowing the long-established session band’s natural chemistry to augment Charles’ and Rebecca’s. “One Day…” contains some of the best melodies they’ve yet created. The duo’s knack for writing hooks and melody has, if anything, become stronger over the last ten years of their career.

After being based in Melbourne and touring throughout the east coast of Australia, he USA, Europe, and Asia in his various bands for several years, Josh moved back to his home town of Fremantle in 2012. For the past 12 months, Josh has been busy in the studio writing and recording his debut album ‘Call in Whispers’ with Eskimo Joe’s Joel Quartermain. The now completed album was released in April 2016 and is by far Josh’s best work to date. Two singles from the album have just been released; ‘Rain Dancer’ and ‘Front Light’ both of which you will find online with a little help from Google… and if you don’t, then you will just have to go and see it performed live.
